Calhoun Co 1860 census gives his name as Franklin Ferril (60 yrs old) and that he was from Monongalia County. Be careful linking him: there seems to be two Franklin Ferrell's from Morgantown area. The 2nd I found was born in 1833. I found reference to the 2nd in Mary Carpenter's book "Who Am I".
