BENJAMIN FINCH (Thummel #329)
(Note that Thummel mentions an Appendix, but I have seen no Appendix to this work.)
November 23rd 1702, WILL of Isaac Finch, "... His wife to have his house and lot during her widowhood and then to return to son Benjamin".
Removed to North Castle, Westchester County, New York before 1740 as on April 1st 1740 Benjamin Finch, fence viewer and prizer of Damages town of North Castle.
August 24th 1747, Isaac Finch of Goshen New York to "..my loving Unkle Benjamin Finch living in North Castle, I being heir-at-law to my grandfather, Isaac Finch, deceased, convey All rights etc."
(NOTE: Mead and others have indicated that he was married to Elizabeth Palmer of Greenwich. He is shown as a resident of Stanford and of Westchester and at no time in Greenwich so believe that the reference is incorrect. Further discussion is shown in the appendix under Benjamin.)
