He was the son of Seth and Elizbeth (Gray) Arnold, a descendant of Pilgrim James Chilton.

On 19 Jan 1715/16 Benjamin Arnold sold land in Duxbury to Nathaniel Thomas. On 16 July 1718 Joseph Delano and Abraham Samson made oath that they saw him sign the deed. There is no Plymouth Co. Probate Record for Benjamin Arnold.
