                                             OBITUARY
                     (Thursday March 2, 1982 Palladium-Times)

Benedict Buscher, of 63 East Seneca St., Oswego, died Monday in the Oswego Hospital. He was the son of the late Stephen and Catherine Buscher. He was also the husband of the late Rose Mary Cavanaugh Buscher. He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and had served in World War II. He was a member of St. Paul's Church in Oswego. He was a member of the V.F. W. and the Polish club. He is survived by two sons, David of Seattle, Washington and Maxon of Cambridge, Mass.; one daughter, Mary Buscher and a son-in-law, Raymond McDonald of Cambridge, Mass.; one brother, Elmer of Seattle, Washington; one sister Mrs. Catherine Burr of Jefferson, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 9:30pm Thursday in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours at the Dain Funeral Home will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
