Ben E Aldrich, 64, of Helena, died Tuesday at his residence.

Ben was born in Rollersville to Edward and Ruth Pauline (Kern) Aldrich, a nd they are both deceased. He married Mary McClure on Dec. 30, 1960, and s he survives.

Ben was a sanitation supervisor for the former Tony's Bakery, later Nickl es Bakery, and owned and operated Ben's Helena Auction since 1979. He enjo yed holding auctions and collecting John Wayne memorabilia. He once sho ok hands with President Dwight Eisenhower.

Also surviving Ben are sons Alan of Helena and Randy (Tina) of Toledo; dau ghter Lisa (Chris) Trautsch of Helena; sons Danny and Eric Aldrich, bo th of Helena; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers Jac k, Fred, and Ace Aldrich; sisters Lillie Robinson, Lulabell Lash, Irene Ch io, Dorothy Smith, Lola Null, Bonnie Ashley, Iona Kopp and Anna Rose Robin son. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by one grandchild.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Shiloh United Methodi st Church, Helena.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Becky Schofield of ficiating.

Burial: Metzgar Cemetery, Helena, with Military Rites performed by the Gib sonburg American Legion.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the family.

Arrangements: Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg.
