BEDFORD BROWN COMPTON

Three Compton brothers (Bedford, Haywood and Henderson) came from North Carolina to Henry County 100 to 110 years ago and each settled a section of land seven to ten miles from Paris, Tennessee.

We Bedford B Compton and wife Euphrasier Hester Compton do appoint John Compton, our attorney to receive for us, monies from the wills of the Hester estate and the Nick Hester estate, late of county of Orange or Caswel County. 16 April 1877 Witness: A.
