Beatrice gave birth to "Winnie" on 3rd December 1915 at Cromer Cottages, Erpingham, Norfolk. Arthur Robert Fox, who lived a quarter of a mile away was the father. Don't know why there was no marriage, but Beatrice married John George Golding (from Aylsham) on 24th September 1916, nearly two months before Arthur was KIA in France. Beatrice & John had two children (1921 & 1922). In August 1923, they decided to migrate to Australia, leaving Winnie to be raised by her maternal Grandparents Robert & Elizabeth Jones.
