    KOOY, Bertha, age 90 years, of Rt. 1, Lynden, passed away at the family home Sunday, Oct. 17, (1954). She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. Koster, Mrs. Andrew Hempel and Mrs. William Heusingveld, all of Rt. 1, Lynden, and Mrs. E. Van Dyke, of Nobleford, Alberta; one son, John of Lynden; 22 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ida Westerbaan, of Edmonton, Alberta. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 21, at 2 p. m. from the First Christian Reformed church in Lynden, with the Rev. Louis Voskuil, officiating. Interment Monumenta Cemetery under direction of the Gillies Funeral Home of Lynden.
