Sekuru Batidzirai was a teacher in Chibi, Zimbabwe (kunonzi KwaBhuka). He was transferred to the then Hanki Mission, but resigned after Hankie Mission refused to accept him with his 35 heads of cattles. So, Sekuru Batidzirai moved to Ruocha in Gutu where his uncles (madzisekuru) lived. He joined the police BSAP in Fairfields, and then transferred to Chibi where he met his second wife. When he retired from the police force, he moved and settled in Mundondo village in Gutu, and then moved to Makura village in Gutu. After he got his third wife in the 1950's, he moved to Chimedza village in Gutu, where he settled until his death in 198_.
