"… Eliphal Sanford, born Dec. 9, 1637. baptized the following day, married about 1657, Bartholomew Stratton, merchant, of Boston. Bartholomew Stratton, deceased, January 6,1686-87, aged 60 years; and Eliphal, his widow, deceased January 19, 1724, 'in ye 88 year of her age.' Burial at Copps Hill. Their children were: 1. William, born January 30, 1658; resided in Boston, and left a family. 2. Ann. born February 10, 1662; married Tobias Adkins. 3. Bridget, born January 28, 1664; married Robert Ladd. These daughters left families."
