Notes

Bartholomew Haden is possibly a son of Sharlot Haden, father of Nancy Haden who married Robert Neely in 1794 in Botetourt County. Bartholomew married Catherine Gholson, daughter of Anthony Gholson in Botetourt County on 16 June 1801. Another Neely, William Neely, married Elizabeth Gholson, another daughter of Anthony Gholson, on 27 November 1787. The Gholson, Neely and Haden families were likely living near each other in Botetourt County during the 1790-1800 time period.
