Barber C. Irwin ELLENVILLE--Services were held Friday at the Pulling funeral home here for Barber Cornelius Irwin, a resident of Curry, who died Tuesday in Veterans Memorial Hospital here, where he had been a patient two weeks. He was seventy-four. Officiating at services was the Rev. I. A. Marsland, Methodist pastor. Burial was in Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville. Mr. Irwin was born July sixteenth, 1872, in Yagerville, a son of William Henry and Mary Frances Barber Irwin. He was a farmer and nad lived most of his life in Curry. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Grahamsville and of the Dairymen's League. He was town supervisor in Wayne County, Pa., twenty-five years ago. He was married in 1902 to Sarah Janette at Fish's Eddy, who survives with three daughters; Mrs. Archie Porter of Middletown, Mrs. Carlton Miller of Hamden, and Mrs. Richard Misner of Curry; three sons, Joseph, Francis, and Virgil Irwin, all of Napanoch; a sister, Mrs. Phoebe DePuy of Selkirk; and five brothers, Matthew and Elmer Irwin of Neversink, Hurshel Irwin of Parksville, David and Jacob Irwin of Ravena.
