Barbara L. (Smith) Loughner, 91, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital.
Born January 27, 1934, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Lael J. Smith and Mildred A. (Shanefelt) Smith.
Barbara was a member of the Latrobe United Presbyterian Church. In her younger years, she was a secretary at Latrobe High School. Among Barb's pastimes were reading and country line dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. "Moe" Loughner; son-in-law, Thomas Kuncher; grandson-in-law, Scott Barr; and sister, Mildred Gressman.
Barbara is survived by one daughter, Toni L. Kuncher Hedman and her husband, Matt, of Latrobe; two sons, Lael J. "L.J." Loughner of Loyalhanna and William D. Loughner of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Lindsay R. Barr, Erin C. Sellers and her husband, Matthew, Sydney E. Loughner, and Seth M. Loughner; and four great-grandchildren, Landry and Cooper Barr and Lachlen and Teaghan Sellers.
