Barbara may be the connection between the Andersons of Dowhill and the Willisons of Port Glasgow. From Genealogical and Heraldic Dictionary of landed gentry 1863: Alexander McGrigor of Kernock, b. 30nov1772, married Fanny, daughter of John Willison of Port Glasgow, lineally descended from the Andersons of Dowhill. Fanny died dec1837. Fanny was Frances, they married 1795 (IGI).
