Ava W. Cessna June 24, 1919 -- Feb. 13, 2005 Ava W. Cessna, 85, of Hayes Avenue died unexpectedly early Sunday morning in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital. Ava was born in Fremont to the now-deceased Michael and Ida (Klutz) Wagner and was a 1937 graduate of Ross High School. In 1950, she married W. Scott Cessna, in Kansas OH, and he preceded her on May 16, 1964. Surviving are her daughter, Michele (Steve) Evans of Fremont and grandson, Michael Frederick. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded by brothers, Worrall and Theron Wagner, and sister, Thelma Beck. Ava was the owner and operator of the former Wagner's Tavern on Hayes Avenue in Fremont from 1939 until she sold the business in 1970. She was also a real estate agent for Co-Op Realty from 1980 to 1995. Ava then worked at Burger King Restaurant from 1995 until her retirement in 2002. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S.
