Auguste was born in January of 1894 in Montgomery County, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of David Johnson and Minnie Unknown.
In 1900 She was living with her father and brothers in Magisterial District 2, Montgomery County, Kentucky, United States. She was 6 years old. [1]
In 1910 Allie was listed as being in the home of her father and stepmother. She was 14 years old and she was able to read and write but she was not attending school. [2]
