[Sordelet Family .FTW] Obituary for August Chevillot August Chevillot, aged 78 died at 3:40 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home, 2816 New Haven Avenue, of a complication of diseases, after an illness of one year. He had been bedfast for the last 14 weeks. Mr. Chevillot was born In France and came with his parents to America when two years of age. The family moved to a farm north of Fort Wayne and Mr. Chevillot continued to live on a farm until seven years ago when he moved to this city. He and Mrs. Chevillot recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Chevillot was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church, the Holy Name society and the Lafayette Legion. Surviving are his widow, Emelia: one son, Jerome , at home; one sister, Mrs. J. Kline, Jefferson township, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home and 9 o'clock at the St. Andrew's Catholic church. Burial in the Catholic cemetery at Besancon.
