  6. The will left 1/3 of his estate to his wife,, Ollive, in lieu of dower, and the residue as follows: to his sons, Jesse C., William S., and Isaac M. Wetmore, each 1/4. To his daughters, Cornelia, wife of Amos Roberson, and Mary Ann, each 1/8. Balance due to Fortune C. White for the lot purchased of him to his wife. The store now occupied as a dryu goods shop by my son Jesse is his own property and no part of my estate. He appointed Jessie C. and William S. Wetmore, his sons, as executors. The will was witnessed by Ezra Wetnire, Charles Lewis and Fortune C. White. The will was proved 25 June 1828
