Asa Wilcox was the son of Francis and Mary Wilcox. Asa married Mary (Polly) WATTS 2 Aug 1822 in Ohio, and they were the parents of nine known children, Nancy, James, John, Francis, Sarah, William, Tryphena, Rebecca., Thomas J. [Last five are on the 1850 c. The others are undocumented except James and John are buried in the same plot area as Asa and son Thomas J. are are of the right ages] Asa died 12 April 1884 at the age of 83 yrs 10 mos 29 days by his tombstone in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Dublin, Franklin Co., Ohio. His wife Polly died 14 Aug 1870 at the age of 68 yrs 6 mos 12 days and is buried beside Asa in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
