RE: One of the sons

I know that he was born in Hartford but did a large part of his work in Meriden, which is still known as The Silver City. I know that his father's name was Asa--the chap who turns up in your own history--and I have found that in addition to the two brothers with whom he operated the "1847 Rogers Brothers" silverplating company, he also had eight sisters.
