From the Water's Edge, p. 54-55, who believes Asa is an ancestor of the author, says Asa's location is not clear after leaving Guilford about 1817, but believe he ended up in upper Canada. It notes that the History of the Melendy Family says that Sally ended up in Pleasanton, KS., but cannot find any evidence of that.
