Arthur Mabee was born on August 9, 1891 in Deer Creek, Tazewell, Illinois to Marshall Mabee and Launa (Swesey) Mabee .

Death

Private Arthur Emerson Mabee was killed at Chateau Thierry, France (Battle of Balleau Woods) June 6, 1918. He was considered MIA until March of 1919. His remains were returned to his family and he was buried in Mount Zion Cemetery.
