Obituary from the Middletown Times-Record Herald, dated February 14, 2004: ARTHUR KEENER JR. Clintondale, N.Y. Arthur Keener Jr., of Clintondale and Ellenville, a retired truck driver for Channel Masters Corp., Ellenville, and a life-long resident of the area, died Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Vassar Hospital, Poughkeepsie. He was 84. The son of Arthur and Adeline Clyne Keener Sr., he was born May 31, 1919 in Ellenville. He was a life member of Brownsville, TX VFW. He served in the United States Marine Corps. during WWII. Arthur is the widower of Theresa Condor Keener. Survivors include his three sons: Arthur Keener, III of Kerhonkson, Frank Arthur Keener of Clintondale and Fred Keener of Las Vegas, NV; his daughter, Theresa Keener of Roscoe as well as several cousins. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son John. Friends may call at the Loucks Funeral Home Inc., Route 209, Ellenville on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be at 8:00 PM on Saturday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rosemary Keener officiating. Burial will be in the Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville.
