JACKSONVILLE, IL - Arthur "Art" Zorn Crumrin, 93, of Chandlerville, Illinois and formerly of rural Beardstown, Illinois, died Tuesday evening, October 29, 2002, at the Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Illinois.
Mr. Crumrin was born November 26, 1908 in West Union, the son of Harry Otto and Emma Elnora (Zorn) Crumrin. He married Edna Wilhelmina Johanna Carls on September 5, 1942.
Mr. Crumrin was a graduate of Chandlerville High School and attended Brown's Business School of Springfield. He worked as an accountant for 40 years at Cass County Service Company. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Beardstown and a former member of Cass County Historical and Genealogical Society, Cass County Farm Bureau, and the National Rifle Association.
Mr. Crumrin was preceded in death by his wife, Edna; two sisters, Harriet Emily Crumrin and Louise (Crumrin) Vaughn; and one nephew, Roland Vaughn of Chandlerville.
Mr. Crumrin was survived by one niece-in-law, Bobette (the widow Mrs. Roland Vaughn) of Chandlerville; one great-nephew, Matthew Vaughn of Chandlerville; three great-great-nieces: Kelsey Vaughn, Kyla Vaughn, and Kallie Vaughn, all of Chandlerville.
Funeral services were Friday at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Beardstown, with burial following at Lutheran Cemetery in Beardstown. Memorials may be made, in Mr. Crumrin's name, to St. John's Lutheran Church.
