    Arnold Severn died suddenly at his home near Steele early Thursday morning, presumably of a heart attack.

    Mr. Severn was 59 years of age, and had been a life-long resident of this community. He was engaged in farming, and was well known throughout this section as a dealer in livestock.

    He was a member of the Church of Christ, and was a veteran of World War I.

    Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Steele, at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, March 25, conducted by Bro. J. R. Braswell, Interment will be in Mt. Zion cemetery, with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Pall bearers will be Barney Robinson, Buck Robinson, Jim Statler, Howard DePriest, Carlie Bates, and Beamuont Smith.

    Survivors are his wife, Mrs. May Severn; one sister, Mrs. Charlie Smith; four nephews and three nieces.
