    Mrs. Patterson Dies in Florida.

    Mrs. Armenal Wood Patterson, wife of Frederick B. Patterson, former president of the National Cash Register Co., died unexpectedly of a heart attack yesterday afternoon at Delray Beach, Fla., according to word received here. She was 65.

    Mr. and Mrs. Patterson had been at Delray Beach, where they maintained a winter home, since January. They reside here at 16 E. Thruston Blvd.

    Born in Dayton, Mrs. Patterson was the daughter of the late Charles Morgan Wood and Nancy Stoddard Wood. Her husband, NCR president from 1922 to 1936, is the son of the late John H. Patterson, founder of the company.

    Mr. and Mrs. Patterson resided for some years in Arizona, returning here several years ago.

    She was one of the founders in 1920 of the Junior League of Dayton, Inc. and a trustee of the Little Exchange foundation here.

    Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Hayden Channing of Washington, D. C.; a son, Capt. Charles Morgan Wood Gorman, with the Air Force at Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Harcourt Armory of New York city, and four grandchildren.

    Services and burial will be conducted here. Arrangements are pending.
