Arlene C. Odbert, of Westminster, MD and formerly of Gettysburg, passed peacefully May 18, 2011, at the Dove House. She was the loving wife of Ivan H. Odbert, who died on June 1, 2001.
She was born June 10, 1924, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Bernard and Lula G. (Krumrine) Nunemaker.
Mrs. Odbert graduated from Gettysburg High School and was a secretary and homemaker. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl A. Jones, Clarksville, MD; Timothy Odbert and wife Patti, Westminster, MD; Frederick Odbert and wife Carol, Brookeville, MD, two grandsons; two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
A service to celebrate her life will be held May 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
