SCHOUTEN, Arie, of Lynden, passed away Saturday, June 8, (1946) at the age of 70 years. Mr. Schouten had been a resident of Lynden for the past 34 years and is survived by his wife, Anna; one daughter, Mrs. Gertie Honcoop, of Lynden; five sons, Arie Jr., Anthony and William, of Lynden, Carl and Marinus, both of Everson; also twenty grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 11, at 2 p.m. from the Second Christian Reformed Church in Lynden with Rev. A. Van Dyken officiating. Interment in the Monumenta Cemetery under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home of Lynden.
