Green County Deed Bk. C-3, p. 53: William Gill of Green County sold to Elisha Roberts one half of a 300 acre grant on Bays Creek of the Big Barren on Oct. 15, 1803. John Robertson, John Rogers and Arch. Rhea were witnesses. John Barret, Clerk of Green County also signed the deed.
