A. Mitchell Gibson of the 7th district died Tuesday morning at 70 years of age after ten days of illness of measles followed by pneumonia. The deceasded leaves a wife and nine children.Eli Gibson, bookkeeper at the Crosswy Tobbaco Co. is a nephew.He was one of Henry County's good substantial farmers and also took a deep interest in school affairs in his district, having being a director the past 20 years. Rev D.T. Spaulding conducted the funeral services from the residence at 2 o'clock.Interment was made in the Edgar burying ground.
