Antonina M. "Lena" Kamer, 87, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born Feb. 21, 1908, in Kamenshen, Russia, the daughter of John C. and Magdelene Gerling Gerhardt. She moved to Topeka from Germany on Aug. 5, 1923.
Mrs. Kamer was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the altar society of the church.
She married Anthony P. Kamer on May 14, 1929, at Sacred Heart Church. He died Jan. 22, 1982. A daughter, Mary Ann Froehler, died Dec. 15, 1988.
Survivors include a son, Leo E. Kamer, Topeka; three daughters: Rose McGrew and Millie Landry, both of Topeka, and Regina Yates, Hanna, Wyo.; a sister, Marie Mendez, Topeka; 13 grandcildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
