His death certificate indicates that he was in the U.S. for 47 year at t he time of his death. He died at age 67. It appears he came to the U. S. sometime around 1883.

The 1900 Census indicates that he came into US in 1883. He owned a farm 46 acre farm and farm house at the top of Gulf Road. It is now the development known as Meadowood.
