Mrs. Antoinette "Toni' Strahl, 68, 131 S. Wildwood Ave., a lifelong resident of Kankakee, died unexpectedly at 2 p.m. Monday at her home. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Golowski, she was born Dec. 20, 1901 at Kankakee. For more than 20 years, she was employed by Alden's Inc., retiring a year ago. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women and the American Legion Auxilliary to Post 85. Her husband, Leslie Strahl, whom she married November 9, 1935 survives. Also a brother, Zigmund Golowski of Bourbonnais and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at the Senesac Funeral Home will be from 7 to 10 p.m. today and from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
