Anthony Schetter

Anthony Joseph Jude Schetter, 64, of St. Clair Street, Tiffin, died at 8: 16 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 29, 1940, in Tiffin, to Ralph and Martha (Fox) Schette r, and they are deceased. He married Beverly Morrison Aug. 4, 1962, in S t. Wendelin's Catholic Church, Fostoria, and she survives. Other survivors include: his step-mother, Maxine Schetter of Vermillion, O H; four daughters, Theresa (Scott) Swavel of Upper Sandusky, Judy (Stev e) Borer of Tiffin, Cheryl (Mitch) Ranker of Alvada, and Antoinette "Ton i" Schetter of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Sebastian Borer, Austin Ranke r, Gavin Borer, and Jaidyn Borer; a brother, Basil Schetter of Lorain; a nd six sisters, Dorothy Minich of Risingsun, Bernadette Widman of Republi c, Regina Hall of Tiffin, Garetta Newman of Lorain, Martha Schetter of Tif fin, and Rachel McNealy of Lorain.

Four brothers, Fred, Bill, Gerard and Ben Schetter, preceded him in death.

He was a 1958 Calvert High School graduate and retired in May of 1990 aft er working 32 years at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria as a maintenance engin eer supervisor. He also owned and operated Harden Precision Scraping in Be lleville MI, from 1989-1997.

He was in the United States Army and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Chu rch.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, in St. Mary Cathol ic Church with the Rev. Timothy Ferris officiating and burial in St. Jose ph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at the Hannay-T raunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin OH 44883 (419) 447-311 3. A parish wake service will be conducted at 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the fune ral home.

The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the chu rch. The United Veteran's Council of Seneca CO will perform military r ites at the cemetery.
