One of the first members of the 1st church at Torrington (Walcottville Parish) in December, 1829. The 1850 Census lists Anson, age 63, living in Torrington, CT and working as a mechanic. He is worth $1,500 and is living with his wife, Flora, age 53, and their four children, Flora, age 23, Fanny, age 19, Phila, age 14, and Eber, age 12.
