Anson Edick was born in St. Johnsville, NY (Montgomery Co.) September 24, 1822. He died November 26, 1906 and is buried in Liberty Cemetery, Tug Hill, Town of Montague, Lewis Co., NY.

He married Laney Elizabeth Klock, born August 2, 1829 in Lyme, Jefferson Co., NY She died May 10, 1886. They had 13 children: Louise, George, Ellen, Ida, Welton, Klock, Alice, Clara, Jenny, Minnie, Charles, Burton, Eugene

Welton was two years older than Klock.

Laney was the daughter of Thomas Klock and Dorothy Putnam.

From the Adams Lewis County Directory, 1895-96 Anson Edick farmed 185 acres, was a hay grower, in the Town of Montague. (Laney is listed there as Lena but maiden name was Klock).

From the Journal and Republican of May 13, 1886:

Mrs. Anson Edick died at her home in Montague aged nearly 57 years. She was mother to 13, all living. Two years ago last fall the whole family was present and ate dinner together.

I have some family lore and other stuff about Anson and Laney. E-mail me at kbohall@yahoo.com if you are interested.
