May be the same person as Person:Ansel Holmes (1), but not enough information given on that page to tell, and Source:Allred, Marilyn. Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages, doesn't say anything about this one beyond the birth date. There is an Ansel Holmes of Plymouth, MA, born about the same time, who appears to be born there, and stayed there. Some census records (1830 and 1840) show an Ansel Holmes in New York, but not enough information is available to be sure it is the same person. However, a query found online indicates he moved to New York.
