Member S.S.W.D. For many years identified with advertising and educational work. During WWI taught at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook, New Jersey. After the war he entered the banking business, becomint in 1928, secretary of the Citizens' Federal Savings Assoc. of Cleveland, and later its president. He derived his eligibilit to the Sons of the American Revolution of which, in 1934, he was vice-president General from the Central District, by descent from Zebidee Young, for several years a soldier in John Tapham's Rhode Island regt. The musket carried by his Revoluntioary ancestor (one of seven thousand stand left by the British pon evacution of Boston) was in his possession. |
