Issue: Tuesday, March 29, 1910, page 1:

Mrs. Peter Irwin Dead Mrs. Peter Irwin, who lived in Ridgway many years ago, mother of J. H. Irwin, of this place, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. O. Ellithrop, at Carlo, this county, where she had been staying recently. Mrs. Irwin was about 75 years old and is well remembered by the older residents of Ridgway. She had been in poor health for the last three years, but it was only about a week ago that she became dangerously ill. Mrs. Irwin is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. K. Lewis, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Perry Moore, of Nebraska, Pa.; Mrs. H. O. Ellithrop., of Carlo; Rev. D. C. Irwin, of Delavan, N.Y.; J. H. Irwin of Ridgway; and Mrs. Flora Bogle of Mauch Chunk, Pa. The funeral will be held at Carlo on Thursday but at what hour has not been learned.
