    Extracts: Annie Pink, the daughter of a wealthy Viennese coco trader, was born in 1902. Her brother, Fritz Pink, had been killed during the First World War, and her mother died in the influenza epidemic of 1919. She hated her step-mother and suffered from depression and as a result of her friendship with Lore Kahn, met the psychologist Wilhelm Reich. Annie Reich died in 1972.
