Annie Palmer was born on 18th November 1867 at Glapthorn in Northamptonshire, daughter of Elizabeth Palmer, formerly Marriott, and her husband Joseph Palmer, a wheelwright. Annie appears in both the 1871 and 1881 censuses living with her parents and siblings in Glapthorn, described as a scholar.

Sadly, Annie died when she was only sixteen years old. She was buried at Glapthorn on 19th May 1884.
