HAW RIVER — Mrs.. Annie Clapp Modlin, 67, of 105 Elk Street, died Sunday, October 27, 2002 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. She was born in Alamance County to the late Albert Clapp and the late Daisy Peele Clapp and was married to Bobby Lee Modlin who survives.

She is survived by her husband of the home; sons, Roger Modlin of the home, Tony Modlin and his wife, Rhonda of Mebane; daughters, Brenda Modlin and Penny Overman and her husband, Greg, both of Haw River; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Riverdale Baptist Church by Rev. Eugene Webb. Interment will follow at Haw River City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at the home.
