Funeral services for Annie Beatrice Boothe, 85, were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Highway 70 church of Christ with pastor Bob Brandon officiating. She died November 6 in Lakeside Care Center, Lubbock. Mrs. Boothe spent most of her life in Dickens county, but had lived for the past 14 years in Lubbock. The former Annie Anderson, she married Preston Riley Boothe February 10, 1918 in Spur. He died in May of 1964. She was a member of the Church of christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Lola Perkins, Lubbock; one sister, Ethel Schweikhardt, OK; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included J.C. Randall, Rex Carlisle, Buck Carlisle, Jim Wyatt, Carl Grantham and Dwight Dillashaw.

Burial was in Spur Cemtery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
