    On the 22nd day of June in the case of Annette W. Van Baren, admitted September 14, 1914, a writ was received at 9:45 a.m., returnable at 10:30 same day. Patient was hastened to court, but the writ was dismissed and patient returned to the hospital. During the court proceeding the patient assaulted her mother who was the petitioner for the writ.

    Sanity Affected She Asks $100,000
    Suit for $100,000 has been begun in the United States District Court by Annette W. Van Baren, through her next friends, Annette Blessing, both of New York, against the Public Service Railway Company.
    It is charged that November 10, 1913, Miss Van Baren while waiting for a car of the Public Service in Hoboken was run down by another car. It is alleged that she was standing in the proper place.
    The plaintiff was injured about the spine so that her sanity was affected, it is charged.
