Annie Willie Rainey (1883-1896) is buried in the Red House Presbyterian Church cemetery (Semora, Caswell County, North Carolina). Her grave is in a transitional section of the cemetery where the gravestones are laid out in rigid rows, containing many thin tablet headstones and footstones. Her grave is marked by a thin headstone of baroque styling containing a tympanum with a carved dove bearing a flower in its beak. An inscription at the bottom of the tablet reads: "Our dove has flown."
