Wife of William Woodbridge Rodman, M. D. Descendant of Rev. Benjamin Pomeroy, Elihu Pomeroy and Isaac Williams, of Connecticut. Daughter of Benjamin Pomeroy and Jerusha Williams, his wife. Granddaughter of Elihu Pomeroy (1758-1834) and Lydia Barber, his wife; Isaac Williams and Phebe Williams (1761-1822), his wife (m. 1780). Gr.-granddaughter of Benjamin Pomeroy and Abigail Wheelock, his wife. [p.219] Benjamin Pomeroy, (1704-84), served as chaplain of the Third regiment, 1777-8. He was born in Suffield, Conn., and died in Hebron, Conn. Elihu Pomeroy, (1755-1834), was a minute man at the Lexington Alarm in Capt. Worthy Waters' company. He was born in Hebron, Conn., and died in Enfield, Mass. Isaac Williams, (1758-1844), enlisted when a lad and served under different commands. He received a pension for his service.
