!First name sometimes spelled "Ann". !Became the plural wife of George Washington Gibson at age 15 in Salt Lake

City. George and his first wife, Mary Ann Sparks, had eleven children, the
tenth of which, Manomas Lavinia Gibson, was 15 years old at the time of George
and Anne's marriage. Apparently quite a few problems arose between the Gibson
children and their father's new young wife.

!Dan Willis (Anne's 3rd Great-grandson), with two of his sons, Connor and

Morgan, located Anne's grave at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane (2000
East 4800-5042 South), Salt Lake City, UT on 8/15/94. Listed as "Ann Newman".
Headstone lists birth and death dates, respectively, as 1840 and 1874. Plat
is 4th East, 1st North, Space 2. Ann is buried next to her brother, William
H. (Hughes) Newman and his wife, Jane Ann (Allen). Cemetery officials
confirmed that Holladay Memorial Park "absorbed" the old Cottonwood
Cemetery.

!"Cottonwood" is now known as the Holladay area of Salt Lake City, Utah. !Willenhall is currently located in the metropolitan county of West Midlands

(Birmingham and surrounds), immediately south of current Staffordshire.
