On 3 April 1800, in the dwelling house of Lord Sudley on Dover Street, in Mayfair, Middlesex, England, the Most Noble John James Marquis of Abercorn and the Rt. Hon. Lady Anne Jane Hatton, widow, were married by special licence of the Archbishop of Canterbury in a ceremony officiated by H. Howley M.A. in the presence of [Lord] Sudley and Mary Sudley.
