First Church of Stonington says Ann (sic) was admitted May 9, 1708. Anna (sic), daughter of Eleazer, was baptized June 30, 1700. Film 2868. He was Deacon in the church at North Stonington for many years. His will dated 9 Feb 1771 was probated 6 Sep 1771.

His will was dated February 9, 1771, and probated September 6, 1771. He was for many years a Deacon in the Church at North Stonington CT, the town of Stonington having been divided into two parishes in 1727. He married, first, April 20, 1720 (before he was 20 years old), Ann Brown of Stonington. She was born February 1, 1699/1700, and died March 11, 1766. Just two months and three days afterwards, on May 14, 1766, he married, second, Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas and Persis (Cleveland) Hewitt. She was born April 12, 1709.
