Annabel B 'Ann' Lind

Annabel B"Ann" Lind, 86, of Fostoria, died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, April 2 0, 2003, in Fostoria Community Hospital.

She was born July 25, 1916, in Liberty Twp Seneca CO to the late John Raym ond and Emma Elizabeth (Kimmet) Puffenberger. Her husband, Jacob "Jake" Li nd Jr, whom she married Sept. 22, 1934, in Newport, Ky, died Oct. 7, 1993.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Kay M) Ruvolo of Parma OH; two son s, Ronald J (Diane) Lind and David W Lind, both of Fostoria; 10 grandchild ren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; four siste rs, Mrs. Wm (Evone) Mooney, Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Raitz and Mrs. Dwight (Joan n) Holzworth, all of Tiffin and Mrs. Norton (Marian) Boyer of Fostoria; a nd a brother, John Puffenberger of Fostoria.

A brother, Robert Puffenberger, is deceased.

Mrs. Lind, a 1934 graduate of Bettsville High School, had worked at the fo rmer Bersted and Don's IGA Supermarket, both of Fostoria. She was a memb er of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and its Rosary-Altar Societ y, where she served as past secretary. She also served as a Eucharistic mi nister and Lector and was on the Funeral Dinner and Baptismal Committe es at the church.

She had been president and financial secretary of Longfellow Schools PTA a nd a tutor for the school's reading program. Also a member of the Fostor ia Woman's Club, she was an election board volunteer and delivered Mea ls on Wheels.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, in S t. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Buri al will be in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.

Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostori a, where a rosary will be prayed at 8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund or the chur ch.
